Beckon is a small passion project of someone who is not an engineer. While efforts to protect user data have been made, they cannot be guaranteed. Never enter sensitive information into Beckon. Beckon will never ask you for sensitive information like your home address or credit card number. If you receive a request like this from Beckon, please ignore it and reach out to cara@lacunapractice.com to report it.

Your name and phone number let Beckon text your group the weekly survey and add everyone to the planning. Survey responses (availability, activity preferences, willingness to be point person) help Beckon figure out what your group should do together.

Everything is stored in a private database that only the group organizer can access, and it's used only to run Beckon for your group — nothing else.

Texting STOP to any message from Beckon opts you out of future texts automatically. Want your info removed entirely? Just reach out and it'll be deleted.
